How to Hunt Big Boar

Contrary to what people say, turning on the light when the boar is eating will not scare it away. It will just stop eating for sometime. That is the best time to shoot, as the boar is quite still at that time.
Hearing The Noise
Boars are known to be noisy when they eat. This can be advantageous when you are trying to get a good shot. While sitting in your tree stand, listen carefully for the noise of the boar eating corn. That way you can aim better at the direction of the sound.
Where To Shoot
There are certain select places that are more likely to injure the boar seriously enough that it won't be able to run away. Places like the shoulder or the neck make great targets. Shooting at the leg can result in the boar limping away. It can then be very difficult to track down!
